 Causes of Sudden Hair Loss

There are many causes of sudden hair loss: genetic predisposition, and inability to deal with great amounts of stress, an imbalanced diet, hormonal imbalance and other chemical imbalances, and a long laundry list of other reasons as well. There are however two leading causes of sudden hair loss and they are: Hereditary factors and stress. Let's take a further look into these two causes of sudden hair loss.

1. Genetic predisposition. The number one reason why people suddenly lose their hair is attributed to their hereditary factors. The leading theories point to the genetic passing on from your mother's side. So, the thinking goes - if your mother's father was bald by 40 then you will more than likely also be bald by the age of 40. This theory is based more on individual's observation that in hard and fast research trials. In the past, people believed that if you were genetically predisposed to baldness then there really was not much that you can do. Fortunately, science has learned that the major issue was caused by a chemical called DHT. This chemical is found to build up to high levels in those that are suddenly losing their hair. There are now on the market DHT blockers that can help decrease the rate of hair thinning and even help hair to grow back. There are some great products on the market but you should shop around before picking up the right one because there are also those who will try taking advantage of somebody's need. I have included information below that point to a product that I personally recommend.

2. Stress. Most people live in this fast-paced society with a great deal of anxiety and stress. We often do not realize how much stress we live under until something goes terribly wrong medically. Not only does stress affect your heart rate, vision, overall organ functioning, but it also affects hair loss. The best way to deal with stress is to walk away from anxiety producing situations if at all possible. It is also recommended that you participate in a daily exercise regiment as well as prayer and meditation as often as possible.
