Most IT services can be viewed as means of preventing the inevitable PC crash that causes a lot of concern and dissatisfaction for customers. There are three critical areas of proactive support that should be deemed invaluable to every computer owner.
Security

Another critical area is backups. Almost 40% of computer users do not back up their computers. This can be a nightmare in the making. The rest of the users back up but to a single hard drive, which is better, but not by much. The best solution for backing up is to pay an IT service for a remote backup plan. Remote backup plans are managed by a larger company in which almost always redundant array of independent disks (RAID) hard drives are employed. The last critical area of proactive computer support is general tidiness of the machine. Most users never think about defragmenting their computer's hard drive, cleaning their registries of junk or simply remove wasted and unneeded files. Most IT services include some kind of monthly maintenance cycle that can keep a PC running as smoothly as it did the day it was purchased.
