1. Love - The unselfish, loyal and benevolent concern for the well being of others
Wow, this one is a biggie and so key to success. If you have a genuine concern for the well-being of others, you will succeed. If you are whole-heartedly aiming to help others succeed, you will succeed. You cannot hide a true concern for the well-being for others, nor can you fake one - don't even try, they will see right through you. However, if you develop a benevolent concern for the well-being of others, you will reap every bit that you sow.
2. Joy - To rejoice, to be glad
This Fruit is another important one. No one wants to be around a constant nay-sayer or negative-minded person; however, people will flock to positive folks with a joyous heart. A grateful heart will go a long ways here. Be grateful for your opportunity, be grateful for the moment, be grateful for the person who introduced you, and be grateful for each person with whom you get to share your opportunity with - you may really get a reason to rejoice if you keep joy in your grateful heart.
3. Peace - The tranquility, harmony, and well-being of the soul
This Fruit is one that you really need to keep while you are waiting for your big break. It is the sense in your heart that you were called to do this for a reason. It can be very difficult if you are struggling with #4 - longsuffering. You will find peace when you release control of your timeline and realize that you are not on your schedule, but His. #7 - Faithfulness, can assist you with this process.
4. Longsuffering - A patience, endurance, steadfastness and forbearance
I have to admit, this one is a weakness of mine; however, I do have a faithful heart, which help to get me back on track. Patience is a constant struggle of mine; however, the rewards are great, when you let go of your timeline. I'm sure that I would have missed out on meeting many amazing people if I had been on my timeline instead of His. . .
5. Kindness - The love for mankind, the ability and willingness to act for the welfare of others
How many times has a simple act of kindness made an amazing difference in your day? It is truly the little things in life that make a difference. As expressed in Evan Almighty, random acts of kindness change the world. And if random acts of kindness can change the world, imagine what they can do for your team. . .
6. Goodness - Beneficence, ready to do good, love in action
This one really needs no explanation - sewing good, reaps good.
7. Faithfulness - A steadfastness, dedication, dependability, loyalty and trustworthiness
If you have a true faithfulness in your heart, you are well-equipped. This Fruit can really help you when you are struggling with the other Fruits. It is a dedication and trust in the Lord that He will provide for you in His time. It may not be exactly what you have been asking for, but it will be worth the wait. (Have you ever heard of Joseph? Slave and prisoner before being made a lord of Egypt by Pharaoh? Talk about a story of faithfulness and being worth the wait. . .)
8. Gentleness - A gracious, kind disposition with controlled strength, and even-temperedness
This is another obvious one, people prefer to be treated with gentleness than gruffness. You can also, see #5 - Kindness for this one too as they go hand-in-hand.
9. Self-Control - A temperance, a rational restraint or discipline exercised over one's behavior
This is simple, we are all human and we all make mistakes, have the self-control to treat others with the kindness that you would like to be treated with and you will be rewarded.
Conclusion
Peter was given the power and ability to be able to walk on water by Jesus; however, Peter had to actually get out of the boat and start walking by faith before the power of God could manifest that allowed him to walk on water. Get out of the boat and walk with the Fruits of the Spirit. You have no idea how many people you will flock towards you if you have a multitude of these fruits abundant in you.
